Finance Manager

Job description: Reporting to the Bursar the successful candidate will be part of a close knit Finance and Administration team.

The candidate will be responsible for the day to day accounting, payroll and administration of the School's finance system (WCBS). The candidate should as a minimum:-
  • Be a part qualified or fully qualified accountant
  • Possess significant payroll experience
  • Have some experience of school billing systems  
  • Possess a high level of competence in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Be committed to continuous improvement of work practices
  • Be able to plan work effectively
  • Be a self-starter, flexible and enjoy working in an established team

Start Date – 1st August 2018 (or earlier by arrangement)

Hours of work – 8.30am to 4.30pm, 4 days a week (to include Tuesday and Wednesday)

24 days holiday per year (30 days pro rata) to be taken outside of term time

Salary - £28,198 per annum (£35,247 per annum pro rata)
