Former pupil of St Hilary’s School, Jack Johnson, has been announced as a new member of the Worcester Warriors for the forthcoming 2021/22 season.
Jack, who was at St Hilary’s from 2001 to 2006, said; “PE was one of my favourite lessons at St. Hilary’s and I had my first taste of competitive sport while I was there. I really enjoyed playing matches against other schools with my friends. It’s great that the boys can now go all the way through as I would have loved to have stayed until Year 6.”
Headmistress, Mrs Whittingham said’ “We are all delighted for this exciting step in Jack’s rugby career and continue sending our full support as we follow him in his first season with Worcester Warriors.”’
Jack visited St Hilary's School when he was capped for England Student team in the 2019/2020 season, playing both home and away matches representing the country. He was also selected for a second time in the 2020/2021 season.
We all wish Jack all the best and look forward to seeing him in action for Worcester later this year.
