Full bursary available

The Governors of St Hilary's are delighted to announce the availability of a fully funded place through the school's Bursary Scheme for a pupil starting in September 2018.  Eligibility for the award is on the basis of the parents' financial circumstances and is offered to a girl on entry into Year 3:-

  • whose parents have demonstrated an inability to afford a full fee-paying place
  • who has attended a maintained school
  • who may live in circumstances of economic or social deprivation
All applications for the bursary will be means-tested and applicants will be required to submit evidence of their income, capital and other assets.  All applicants (parents or guardians) will be interviewed and a home visit will be made.  As a general guide, a full bursary will normally only be offered where the gross annual income of a household is less than £40,000.
All applications will be considered and girls will have the opportunity to visit the school and meet the Headmistress.
Potential applicants should contact the Bursar on 01483 521716 or to express interest following which, a full written application must be submitted on the forms provided.

Royal National Children's Foundation

The Joint Educational Trust has now combined with The Royal Wanstead Children's Foundation to become The Royal National Children's Foundation.  The aims of the charity remain the same.

The Royal National Children's Foundation (RNCF) helps children who have suffered seriously at home or at school, or are severely at risk. RNCF enables these children to attend independent boarding or day schools, or state boarding schools, where they have a real chance of making a new start.

RNCF is delighted to be working with St Hilary’s School to provide life-changing opportunities to vulnerable children, and we are grateful for the continued support the charity receives from parents, staff and children.
