Nursery and Kindergarten Fees

The fees, per term, from January 2024 will be:

Non-refundable Registration Fee £100.00
Deposit £500.00

The Nursery day is divided into two sessions, each of equal length and value:
Morning Session (8.30am - 12.00pm) : £41.50    

Afternoon Session (12.30pm - 4.00pm) : £41.50

(The charge will include a mid session snack + drink)

Lunch will be charged at £2.75 per day and will be available only for those children in the Nursery staying the whole day, and also covers the period 12.00pm - 12.30pm.

The Kindergarten day is divided into two sessions, each of equal length and value:
Morning Session (8.30am - 12.00pm) : £40.00    (£24.70 funded)

Afternoon Session (12.30pm - 4.00pm) : £40.00   (£24.70 funded)

(The charge will include a mid session snack + drink)

Lunch is available and will be charged at £2.75 per day, and has a 12.30pm pick up for those not staying for the Afternoon Session.

 

Depending upon availability, parents are able to choose a number of sessions per week, with a minimum of four in Nursery and six in Kindergarten, to be arranged in advance for the term. One term's notice to the School will be required for any change in the number of sessions.
 

Early Years Funded Education


Please note, we are a registered provider for Surrey County Council Funded Early Education for 3 and 4 year olds. This provides up to 15 hours per week of funded education in Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception up to and including the term of their fifth birthday. Each morning or afternoon session is 4 hours long and each session counts as 3 hours towards the entitlement. St Hilary’s School does not participate in the 30 hours funding scheme.
 

FEET Places


We offer one FEET funded place each academic year on a case by case basis. For more information please contact Mrs Wynn, the School Business Manager on bursar@sthilarysschool.com 
 

Workplace Funding

 

We partner with several childcare providers and employers to offer the government approved Workplace Funding Scheme. If this is of interest to you or you would like to know more please contact Mrs Lemon, the School Finance Manager on accounts@sthilarysschool.com
 

Childcare Vouchers

Your employer may offer the option of childcare vouchers which is a tax efficient way of paying for part of the fees.  We are registered with several childcare voucher providers.  Childcare vouchers can only be used for childcare, which includes Nursery fees, Kindergarten fees, Reception fees (up to the term of the child's fifth birthday), after school activities and before/after school care.

(Lunches, Learning Support and all day trips are included in the above fees. Our school provides dairy products subsidised by the European Union under the European school milk scheme.)

Sibling Discount 

St Hilary's offers a discount to families who have three or more children attending the school at the same time. The third and subsequent sibling's fees will be discounted by a third. Extras

Peripatetic music lessons £220 per term (10 lessons) 

Speech and Drama £185 per term (10 lessons)

Morning Hedgehogs/Breakfast Club - 7.45am to 8.30am, with or without breakfast - £7.00 per session

Afternoon Hedgehogs (after school care for EYFS) - 4.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday - per half hour or part thereof - £5.75

Afternoon Hedgehogs (after school care for Years 1 to 6) - 4.00pm to 6.00pm Monday to Friday - per half hour or part thereof - £4.00

School closes at 6.00pm We understand that there may be unavoidable reasons for running late, but the School reserves the right to charge a late pick up fee of £10.00 for every 5 minutes after 6.00pm.

Please note that all Learning Support lessons, workshops and curriculum day visits to and from school are included within the fees.

School fees are normally subject to annual review, but the School Governors reserve the right to increase them at the beginning of any term, should the need arise, in which case as long a notice as is practicable will be given.

The fees are payable in advance, on or before the first day of term. Full payment details can be found at the bottom of the termly bills. If the previous term's account has not been settled, a child may be refused admission at the beginning of a new term. A full term's notice (or fees in lieu thereof) is required before the removal of a child from the School.

Fees are normally paid as a single payment at the beginning of each term. Additionally there are various companies which offer products to spread the cost of fees over the year. Details of such companies can be found online.

A pupil may only discontinue an Extra Subject if a term's notice has been given in writing to the Headteacher.
